It’s hard not to fall in love with the aroma of the local, natural wood chips and the sights of the St. Mary’s River outside every window of your studio. Our Heritage Artisan here at Sherbrooke Village gets to do this everyday. They can’t wait to share their knowledge of traditional tools and techiques with you.
Step back in time and learn the mystery of making a wooden spoon the traditional way with techniques that still work today! Joey brings history to life by sharing generations of his family’s woodworking traditions. Not only will you leave with an introduction to woodcarving, you will be bringing your own handmade family heirloom home with you today!

Price: $150.00 per person (+HST). All tools are provided for use during the program; all materials are provided
Cancellation policy: Cancellations made less than 3 days prior are non-refundable. Participants will be notified 48 hours in advance if experience is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances
Good to know: Program will take place rain or shine. Please check in at the Visitor Reception Centre by 9:45am to get directions to your workshop. Space is limited to 3 participants per day. Please be advised that due to working with very sharp tools this is an adult workshop only. Please wear closed toed shoes. No sandles or open footwear.
