Sherbrooke Restoration Commission's responsibilities are to develop and direct the policies by which Sherbrooke Village (Museum) operates. By preserving the built heritage, enhancing opportunities to investigate local and provincial history, encouraging participation in heritage activities, including the crafts, skills and family life of the era represented, the Commission will help to ensure the preservation of the past and enhance the future of the area.
The Sherbrooke Restoration Commission in partnership with The Department of Communities, Culture, Tourism & Heritage supports communities across the province to be welcoming, inclusive and accessible, providing a great quality of life for Nova Scotians. We value the collective diversity of our heritage and our people and believe in the transformative nature of culture to help create healthy, active, growing communities.
