2017 Sherbrooke Village Courthouse Concert Series

Concerts are held Thursday evenings from June 29 to August 17 and on Friday evenings, from August 25 to September 15, offering music from a variety of genres. All concerts start at 7:00 pm, tickets $10 at the door.

Courthouse Concert – Folk Duo, Naming the Twins, 7:00 pm, tickets $10 at the door.

Courthouse Concert – “Song Circle”, A variety of genres presented by: George Brothers, home from Peace River, Alberta; Lisa Hallett, one of our local regulars from Stormont; Nathan Langley from Country Harbour; Shirley Teasdale, is back from Truro; and Kenny Langley, from Country Harbour, 7:00 pm, tickets $10 at the door.


Friday, July 21

FREE CONCERT Shiretown with their catchy melodic tapestry of folk-rock and adult contemporary at the Performance Centre, 7:30 pm.


Thursday, July 27

Courthouse Concert – Featuring hometown folksinger Clary Croft presenting songs from his folk roots through to contemporary pieces highlighting his experiences with all musical genres from jazz, musical theatre, pop standards and some of his own compositions., 7:00 pm, tickets $10 at the door.


August 2017

Courthouse Concert – Fine Fiddling with Klorissa Farnsworth, 7:00 pm, tickets $10 at the door.


Thursday, August 10

Courthouse Concert – Hal Bruce returns with songs from his new album of much anticipated original songs, "Rock Steady Line", as well as his vast catalogue of classics from the 1960s and 70s.  You will not want to miss this concert... everything from "Rock Around The Clock" to "My Own Way To Rock". 7:00 pm, Tickets $10 at the door.


Thursday, August 17

Courthouse Concert –– 'Friends' & 'Family' Terri MacDonald & Lisa Hallett, 'Friends', will be joined this year by Kenny & Nathan Langley 'Family'. Performing Gospel, Country and Original tunes, 7:00 pm, tickets $10 at the door.


Friday, August 25 

COURTHOUSE CONCERT – “Rally That Gives” kick off concert with Dan McKinnon. His smooth baritone voice is built for the ballads he sings. His ear-pleasing melodies are common to all his work and the lyrics to his original songs are thought-provoking and from the heart. This is a fundraising concert in support of the Cancer Society’s “Lodge That Gives”, “Cathy’s Place” and “Holy Redeemer Convent” where Nova Scotia Cancer patients receive lodging and/or support. Free Admission to Rally participants, 7:00pm, tickets $10 at the door.

Friday, September 8

Courthouse Concert – 23rd Annual Sherbrooke Show & Shine Kick-Off Concert featuring an evening of music with Sam Moon, 7:00 pm, admission $10 at the door. Free admission to those pre-registered for the car show.

COURTHOUSE CONCERT –Annual Sherbrooke Shares Variety Concert in aid of the St. Mary’s Food Bank, 7:00 pm, tickets $10 at the door
